pottery dilemma related to forum

In a pottery studio or workshop - we are getting together and producing a collection, or a range of pottery for presentation/exhibition/showing
a new line.
The owner told Jan their is severe shrinking going on in her pots - we say 'dont they know that is the nature of clay potter'
i ask Jan if she has any work in progress (as i look around) and she says 'no'

I am seeing me panic a little - as i look around and nothing looks finished and not even started

I see some work of mine that needs turning, but its too hard - the clay has turned too hard to turn.
I am flummoxed
if i dont turn them they will stay ugly (thick walls and heavy bottoms that need to be shaved/turned off (to be light enough to carry)

I start paying attention to a saucer that is my creation , it has been wood-fired
Its too wobbly, so i turn it over/up side down, it is more stable (but unfunctional).

I notice it has a daub of glaze in the middle (a very small, but perfect example of shino.
The saucer design or the glaze is not appropriate for production ware .

i am also thinking, the saucer also not a very good example of the original design i created.

BEING PROPELLED/ACCELERATED REQUIRES PERSONAL MENTORSHIP, GUIDANCE AND FELLOWSHIP.
