Space Projects

i am insort of militiary
i hear of some new space projects - i would like to be a part of, but am merely a private.
i say to a lance corporal, i would like to be included - but need to be higher rank - could they help
i am saying something like " i dont like responsibility, but would like to be included in the new space project - so need a higher rank to be included - how do i get t his?
she says, 'i will get back to you'
(forgotten the bits in between)
i then see the officer in charge
She is sitting at a table - at the end of a row of something
a person is there (blocking me from getting to the officer)
Instead of talking over her (or over the top of her head)
i go around
and start talking to the officer
I am saying the same thing as i said to the lance corporal
"i dont like responsibility but I would like to train for a higher rank blah blah blah'
She became very excited

'not get attached to' - 'not be concerned about' -'not take something on board , its not worth it'

seeing keys being found - seeing keys being guided to locks/unlocking - seeing doors being opened - seeing new maps/routes being found
the higher you go, the more responsibilities and obligations there are.
